Corporate Tax Senior Manager
Emma trained and qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales with Deloitte in London. She has over 4 years’ experience of working in Deloitte’s corporate tax team specialising in tax compliance and reporting for large corporate clients and tax advisory work.
Following this Emma moved to an in-house role in Leeds with a US listed pharmaceutical company, where she spent 3 years in the finance team gaining exposure to a variety of areas and having responsibility for the UK tax affairs of the group, which involved corporate acquisitions and integrations, group simplifications and transfer pricing.
Emma then moved to an International Tax Manager role at a US headquartered global oil and gas distributor, where she had responsibility for the tax affairs of the International group, including consolidated tax reporting and ETR monitoring, the tax impact of corporate transactions and restructurings and new market entries.
Emma enjoys supporting businesses through change and providing pragmatic tax advice to both tax and non-tax specialists. She enjoys a diverse client portfolio and assisting businesses with all aspects of their tax affairs from compliance to reporting to advisory, and from UK to International coordination.
Emma has two young, energetic boys at home and enjoys family time going for walks, drinking coffee and eating cake. In her spare time she likes cooking and socialising with friends.
