Location: City of London

Salary: Competitive Rate

Start date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced and driven US Tax Senior Manager to join our growing London-based team. The successful candidate will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of high net worth individuals, advising on complex US and UK tax matters, and leading both compliance and advisory work.

This is an opportunity to play a key role within a collaborative and technically strong team, working closely with Partners and Directors while also supporting the development of junior staff. The role will involve significant client interaction and responsibility for ensuring high-quality service delivery across a range of cross-border tax issues.

We are looking for a candidate with strong dual-handling experience in US and UK personal tax. While the successful candidate should demonstrate a broad range of skills, we recognise that not all applicants will meet every criterion listed below. Ongoing training and development will be provided where required.

The role is based in our London office near Liverpool Street, with a hybrid working pattern of two days in the office and three days working remotely.

Who We're Looking For:

· Significant experience in US and UK personal tax, particularly advising private clients.

· ATT or CTA qualified, alongside a US tax qualification (EA or CPA).

· Proven experience managing a client portfolio and acting as a key point of contact.

· Strong experience across both compliance and advisory work.

· Experience leading, managing and developing junior staff.

· Experience with US trusts and estates or international reporting (e.g. Form 5471) would be beneficial but not essential.

· Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex client scenarios.

What We Offer:

· Exposure to high-value, complex international tax work.

· A collaborative and supportive working environment.

· Opportunities to contribute to and shape the growth of the US tax practice.

· Clear progression opportunities within a growing firm.

· Flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Responsibilities:

· Manage a large and varied portfolio of US/UK private clients, ensuring high standards of service delivery.

· Lead both US and UK tax compliance and advisory engagements.

· Act as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving queries and providing ongoing support.

· Work closely with Partners and Directors on complex advisory matters.

· Lead, mentor and develop junior members of the team.

· Ensure work is delivered on time and in line with technical and quality standards.
