UK Tax Residency Planning and Advice

We advise clients on how to manage their UK tax residency position.

A new statutory residence test (SRT) has been introduced since 6 April 2013. Understanding these rules and applying them to your own individual circumstances can be difficult.

We provide clear and concise tax residency advice to individuals who:

• are coming to/or leaving the UK, or
• want to spend the maximum possible time in the UK while remaining non-resident, or
• are dual resident in the UK and another country, or
• need to understand the impact of a double tax agreement on their residency status and the taxation of their income.

If any of the above circumstances apply to you or you are uncertain over any aspect of your UK tax residency position we can help you.

Our Fees

We work on a fixed fee basis and will always agree fees in advance once the scope of the advice and/or compliance requirements has been agreed with a client.

Your Contacts

Our private client teams are led by Jamie Favell and Sophia Passingham, both of whom have a wealth of experience in private client tax matters.

We would be pleased to arrange an initial free introductory telephone call with a view to assessing your tax position and agreeing the next steps with regards providing formal detailed advice and/or assistance with your tax return preparation.
