Aidan has been working in personal tax planning for over 15 years, having initially trained with a Big 4 firm. He spent 5 years working in Jersey where he focused on tax planning strategies for private individuals in the UK. He returned to London in 2005 and set up his own firm which has operated very successfully in this specialist area.
His experience has given him exposure to the cutting edge of tax planning and as a result he is well placed to advise clients at a practical level on what they can expect from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HM Revenue and Customs or HMRC) is a non-ministerial department of the UK Government responsible for the collection of taxes, the payment of some forms of state support and the administration of other regulatory regimes including the national minimum wage...., as well as what planning choices may be available to clients at any given time.
Aidan is a firm believer taking a proactive approach to taxation and often works with other tax professionals to help them to provide planning opportunities to their clients and to ensure that as the HMRC require, they pay “the right amount of tax”.
Aidan is married with two children. In his spare time he enjoys playing Squash and Land Yachting in windy weather.
